SACRED VALLEY FULL DAY TOUR
The sacred valley tour begin aproximately at 8:00 am and finish at 19:00 pm. The visit start in PISAC town (Pisac local market), archaeological site pisac, following the excursión during the transportation from PISAC to URUBAMBA we can appreciate the towns : COYA, LAMAY, CALCA, YUCAY and URUBAMBA where is possible to appreciate the beautiful flora and fauna. The transportation is about 45 minutes until we arrive to URUBAMBA city where we have lunch in a typical restaurant ; then transfer to OLLANTAYTAMBO town, where we visit the archaeological site ollantaytambo, then transportation to CHINCHERO and finally wayback to Cusco.
PISAQ – OLLANTAYTAMBO – CHINCHERO
The sacred valley and Cusco were the center of inca universo, the weather, the excellent land, the Urubamba river (cross the sacred valley about 100 kilometers) , the different altitudes and the ecological floors created the conditions to this valley become the food pantry and the resting place of Inca court.
PISAC
The archaeological site Pisac is located on top of a mountain from there is possible to see a big área of the sacred valley. This marvelous place is made with platform groups and scattered architectural structures on the slopes and on top of the mountain, Pisac has the impeccable finish of its constructions.
URUBAMBA
Is the place to have lunch in a typical restaurant. Its valley make a nice weather, good for the farming, Urubamba particularly characterized by the cultivation of corn and export to other countries.
OLLANTAYTAMBO
Ollantaytambo was a place to control the entrance to Machupicchu sanctuary. The archaeological site of Ollantaytambo is surrounded with awesome symmetrical platforms, fortress built since the XV century.
CHINCHERO
Typical town , nowadays the people living in this town keep the tradition , customs and the costumes . They make the commercial activities with the Exchange system of products (TRUEQUE).Purely agricultural área due to the platforms. There is a colonial church, built on base of an incan temple show how they have been indoctrinating the Inca culture.
